Aura or light. What is that? It is my belief that a person's aura
is his spirit that shines a little bit outside his physical body.
I want to determine how to see a person's light, what the different
colors mean and if changes in a person's light signal a change in
health. I will also explore the religious aspects of an aura or
light.I have no control over the content of the Google ads on this

that as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

The first step is to learn
the technique of how to see your or another person's light. It is
easy to do. In fact, it is easier than training your eyes to see
those 3-D posters! It is just that, training your eyes.
The person who you are observing needs to be
standing a few feet away from a white wall. You look at the wall
above or around the person or just soften your gaze so that nothing
is too much in focus. You will notice a brightness around the person
that looks like a lightbulb is burning behind them. Its a bit of a
surprise at first, but you are seeing their aura. You can see it
around big hair, or a hat. When you shift your vision or focus too
sharply, the aura goes away. Don't try too hard, and keep practicing
.
You can do the same by standing in front of a white wall and looking
into a large mirror.
The first day I was able to
do this looking at myself in a mirror. I saw a white light around
my head, and bright yellow around my arms.
From listening to Mark Smith(where I
learned this) on the radio, he said that once you see your light,
it goes away, and that is because you are surprised and you switch
the focus of your eyes and try to look right at the subject, and
that's why it disappears. You see the aura from your peripheral
vision.
My goal is to look at my light every day so that if changes occur,
I can also see what changes occur in my light.
I also discovered that it was easier to see my light in the mirror
when I wasn't wearing my glasses. Since everything was fuzzy, I
wasn't able to focus on anything.
Maybe because it was April fool's day (99), but I was able to see
some colors on people today for the first time. As I looked in the
mirror at myself, I saw white around my head and a big 8+ inch pink
fluffy light around my shoulder and upper arm area. I really don't
know what that means right now, but that's what I saw. Then I also
saw a little tint of blue around my husband's head. I don't know
what that means yet, either.
April 5- I wasn't sure today if I was dong this right or not because
of the light I was seeing around myself. I saw white around my head,
smokey brown around my arms and that same pink around my legs. I
remember Mark Smith saying that a grey aura meant you were sick and
he rarely saw that. I have had slight flu symptoms for the past 2
days, but I didn't think I was that sick. Maybe the pink a
few days ago was and early indication that I was going to get sick.
I wish I knew that answer to that one.
Mid-April - in the past four days, I have seen my aura be white all
around arms and head, then I saw the pink color again, and then
today I saw a brilliant green. Now that is a new one! I am really
curious why the different shifts in colors.
April 16 99- Today I see my light is now again white all over. I am
considering how I felt all during the time I was viewing colors like
green and pink and brown. All during that time I was not feeling
100% wonderful. I was sore, like you feel after you start
exercizing a new muscle, and sometimes dizzy with a headache. And
now all those problems are gone and I am seeing a white light again.
So my theory would be that those colors were because of physically
not feeling well. I would like to test out that theory, but I really
don't want to feel yucky in order to do so!
Apr 29 - Last night someone on the Art Bell
show called and asked Art about seeing an aura and why it was
necessary to see the aura on a background of a white wall and why we
can't see it in a dark room, since it is a light. Art
didn't have an answer but it seems obvious to me. A person would
need to be very spiritual (like Moses) or glorified or an angel
before your light would be bright enough to visibly ***shine
***
Ap 2001. We started sitting in a new place in church every Sunday,
so that when the person is standing at the podium, they are
directly in front of a white wall. So I get to practice looking at
the light around everyone who stands up to speak. It is
fascinating. To my untrained eye, some have very wide bright
auras and others have a thinner one. I have seen a lovely spring
green around one woman's arms, and brownish-gray around another
person. This particular color has me concerned - but I don't really
know what it means.
Aug 2001. I have been able to observe many people in church now
that we sit on the side, and I have discovered what the brown-gray
is that is surrounding a few people. These people either have had
severe accidents or currently have a chronic illness. Two were in
serious car accidents, and although they look fine from the outside,
there is still problems. One has a chronic health problem and the
other is dealing with some emotional problems.
One teen I noticed with this brown aura has me baffled, however. I
know him and his family, and without going up and asking his mom if
there is any serious health problems going on, I am not sure why he
has this aura.
Apr 2002 Its been such a long time since
I've seen colors. I still see lots of white aura's in church.
Returned missionaries, our Bishop have the strongest, biggest,
brightest lights. When we took our son to the Missionary Training
Center, the President of the place spoke. I could see a nice light
blue around his shoulders. I think blue is the color of a natural
teacher. Then at church just the next week, a returned missionary
couple spoke. The woman who spoke had a beautiful light green aura
around her shoulders. I think green is the healing, balancing aura.
June 2003. Still the best place to see
aura's is in church. We had Stake conference with a visiting
General Authority from SLC. His aura was big and bright and white.
I was only seeing white that evening. But so big.
At the time I began this exploration of light, there was no such thing
as a blog, but now I have one and any further discussion and discovery
about aura's will be there rather than on this page.
I prefer to call this halo around a person his
light rather than his aura. The term aura seems to
be very connected to eastern mistic religions and far-out
philosophies that I do not agree with.
But it is very much part of my own religious beliefs and easily
explained from the sciptures. Here are some that I have looked
up so far:
1. Doctrine & Covenants 93:2 - And that I am the true light that
lighteth every man that cometh into the world;
2. D&C 93:9 - The light and the Redeemer of the world; the Spirit
of truth, who came into the world, because the world was made by
him, and in him was the life of men and the light of men.
3. D&C 93:28,29 - He that keepeth his commandments receiveth truth
and light, until he is glorified in truth and knoweth all things.
Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light
of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.
4. D&C 93:36,37 - The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other
words, light and truth. Light and truth forsake that evil one.
5. D&C88: 50,67 - Then shall ye know that ye have seen me, that
I am, and that I am the true light that is in you, and that you are
in me; otherwise ye could not abound. And if your eye be singel to
my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there
shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with
light comprehendeth all things.
6. D&C 84: 45,46 - For the word of the Lord is truth, and
whatsoever is truth is light, and whatsoever is light is Spirit,
even the Spirit of Jesus Christ. And the Spirit giveth light to
every man that cometh into the world; and the Spirit enlighteneth
every man through the world, that hearkeneth to the voice of the
Spirit.
7. Matthew 17: 1,2 - And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James,
and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain
apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as
the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
8. Exodus 34:28,29 - And he (Moses) was there with the Lord forty
days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water.
And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten
commandments. And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount
Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand when he came
down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face
shone while he talked with him.
9. I Nephi:9-10 - And it came to pass that he (Lehi) saw One
descending out of the midst of heaven, and he beheld that his
luster was above that of the sun at noon-day. And he also saw
twelve others following him, and their brightness did exceed
that of the stars in the firmament.
10. Helaman 5:36 - And it came to pass that he (some Nephite
standing by the prison) turned him about, and behold, he saw
through the cloud of darkness the faces of Nephi and Lehi; and
behold, they did shine exceedingly, even as the faces of
angels...
